Besides the regular shoots in the team hotel, for the new catalogue Jürgen Klopp and his players followed the footsteps of Reinhold Messner and Luis Trenker, doing rock climbing at the Riegersburg castle in Styria. After all, rock climbing is lot like football: if you want to overcome obstacles and reach the top, you shouldn´t rush things and watch each step carefully - step by step towards the top.
The players and their coach couldn´t afford to show a fear of heights. At times it took up to 30 minutes for a perfect snap shot, 50 feet above the ground. And in this time the photo shoot team also regularly asked them to change their posture and expressions.

The shoot at the steep rock wall was well received by all, despite the arduous climbing. "The players enjoyed the shoot. It was a nice change from the training routine," said Zerber.
The new catalogue will be available in the first week of August and automatically send to all season ticket holders, club and Kidsclub members. For all others, a copy of the magazine can be ordered on the www.bvb.de website or by calling the hotline (+49 231 434443).
Zerber promised: "The fans can, of course, look forward to the new shirts which have already been presented. Furthermore, we want to continue the success story of the toaster by offering in wintertime a waffle maker that can make BVB emblem shaped waffles."
