BVB chairman Hans-Joachim Watzke called the 41-year-old "one of the most prominent personalities in the field of sports marketing." Watzke said: "We are delighted to have appointed him and expect from Cramerīs work a further professionalisation in the area of Sales and Marketing at Borussia Dortmund."
Carsten Cramer, who is now responsible for all of BVBīs private and corporate clients, emphasised that he is looking forward to his new job "at this very special club" Borussia Dortmund. "In my time as Sportfiveīs team manager in Dortmund, I came to know and appreciate BVB and thatīs why I know about its great potential and unique charisma," said Cramer, who was born in Münster and who will return to his native Westphalia to start his new job. |
